{"id":2913,"date":"2024-04-22T23:51:45","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T21:51:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amphi.projektserver.org\/?post_type=act&#038;p=2913"},"modified":"2024-05-08T14:16:23","modified_gmt":"2024-05-08T12:16:23","slug":"v2a","status":"publish","type":"act","link":"https:\/\/amphi-festival.de\/en\/act\/v2a\/","title":{"rendered":"V2A"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Formed in 2001 by Kevin Stewart (\u2018Drone\u2019) and Ines Lehmann (\u2018Mechanized\u2019), V2A is an Elite UK\/German post-apocalyptic hard Electro-Industrial Techno outfit, famed for their extravagant, mind-blowing stage performances, brutal techno rhythms, and aggressive vocals.<\/p>\n<p>As a fierce live act, V2A toured with scene legends COMBICHRIST as their European Main Support on their \u201cEVOLUTION Tour\u201d, as well as NACHTMAHR on their 10-date marathon Tour in Germany during their \u201cUnbeugsam Tour\u201d, not to mention played Wave-Gothik-Treffen festival\u2019s premiere Agra Hall to thousands of fans. Not only in European demand, V2A has also headlined the iconic Mad Max-themed Wasteland Weekend Festival in the Californian Mojave Desert (USA) for four years in a row, including being featured at its 10th anniversary edition!<\/p>\n<p>Their fame reaches beyond just regular scene borders, having performed at a vast number of comic conventions and sci-fi festivals, working with stars like David Hasselhoff and William Shatner. Additionally, V2A are officially composing the music for the Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior 40th anniversary documentary, Maxed Out. With interviews and live recording sessions with radio stations (including the famed BBC UK) further spreading their sound, V2A\u2019s success seems unstoppable.<\/p>\n<p>After releasing their seminal debut (EBM) in 2001, five further albums since followed, with the latest being 2018\u2019s GRAVITY KILLER.
