{"id":3799,"date":"2024-05-02T00:26:52","date_gmt":"2024-05-01T22:26:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amphi-festival.de\/act\/camouflage\/"},"modified":"2024-10-19T17:29:53","modified_gmt":"2024-10-19T15:29:53","slug":"camouflage","status":"publish","type":"act","link":"https:\/\/amphi-festival.de\/en\/act\/camouflage\/","title":{"rendered":"Camouflage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Most people associate the band Camouflage primarily with two radio hits from the 80s, \u2018The Great Commandment\u2019 and \u2018Love is a Shield\u2019 &#8211; but few people realise that Heiko Maile, Marcus Meyn and Oliver Kreyssig can now look back on 30 years of band history and are one of the most influential synth bands in Germany alongside Alphaville and De\/Vision.<\/p>\n<p>The band was founded in 1983 in Bietigheim-Bissingen in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg as a school band, initially under the name \u2018Lizenenced Technology\u2019. The first songs were recorded on cassette in the basement home studio of Maile&#8217;s parents&#8217; house under the most primitive conditions.
