F\u00fcr Marianthi und Sophie k\u00f6nnen es hingegen gar nicht genug Kn\u00f6pfe, bunte Regler und blinkende L\u00e4mpchen sein. Stehen sie vor einem alten analogen Synthesizer, erwacht ihr kreativer Geist sofort zum Leben \u2026 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"bandborder\" src=\"https:\/\/amphi.services\/images\/bands\/marsheaux.jpg\" alt=\"Marsheaux\" align=\"right\" \/> keine Frage, diese beiden Ladys lieben ihre Maschinen. Als Marsheaux entlocken die beiden ihrer Sammlung von alten Moogs, Korgs und Rolands ein kunterbuntes Klanguniversum mit einer verf\u00fchrerischen, femininen Note. Sie kokettieren mit einem flotten Lolita-Girlie-Charme, wissen aber auch, wie man in den richtigen Momenten mit unterk\u00fchlter Erotik punktet. Hinzu kommt ein formidables H\u00e4ndchen f\u00fcr Melodien, die ins Ohr gehen, und ein Faible f\u00fcr die ganz gro\u00dfen Pop-Momente. Da Marsheaux aber auch wissen, wie man so einem Synthesizer die richtig dicken T\u00f6ne entlockt, packen sie ihre Pop Hymnen auf ein solides Fundament aus Beats und Bass, und liefern somit Disco-Futter mit Hit-Qualit\u00e4ten.<\/p>\n<p>Auf ihrem Deb\u00fct-Album &#8220;E-Bay Queen&#8221; verkn\u00fcpften sie moderne Minimal Electro Kl\u00e4nge mit der lasziven Coolness der fr\u00fchen Achtziger und buntem Pop-Charme. Den beiden Eckpfeilern Disco und Ohrwurm-Pop r\u00e4umten sie auf ihrem zweiten Album &#8220;Peek-a-Boo&#8221; einen noch gr\u00f6\u00dferen Stellenwert ein, und sch\u00fcttelten so quasi mit Links das lockerste Electro Album des Jahres 2007 aus dem \u00c4rmel. Auch diverse Tourneen (u.a. mit Client), auf denen die beiden Synthie-affinen Girls das jeweilige Publikum reihenweise zum Dahinschmelzen brachten, konnten den unb\u00e4ndigen Tatendrang des Duos nicht bremsen, sodass sie bereits Anfang 2008 mit der 7&#8243; Vinyl Single, &#8220;Ghost&#8221;, in den Startl\u00f6chern standen. Mit zwei elektrifizierenden Tanzfl\u00e4chennummern bringen Marsheaux damit wohl jeden Club zum Kochen&#8230; und da Marianthi und Sophie eigentlich permanent unter Strom stehen, d\u00fcrfte das n\u00e4chste Album auch nicht mehr lange auf sich warten lassen.<\/p>\n<p>Bei Marsheaux bleibt es gewiss nicht beim \u201eDream of a Disco\u201c \u2013 das Duo bringt die Disco ins Haus!
