Since 2014, the band around vocalist Adam Houghton have combined distinctive bass lines, angular guitars, and electronic elements into a sound that feels cold, melancholic, and powerful in equal measure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Deep vocals, driving rhythms, and dense synthesizer textures give their songs an unmistakable character. Yet IST IST are not defined by the darker side of post-punk alone: sweeping melodies and surprisingly catchy moments regularly find their way into the mix. It is this contrast between raw directness and atmospheric depth that gives the band its particular appeal.<\/p>\n<p>Live, IST IST demonstrate why they have built such a strong reputation over the years.
