The Nosferatu are a British gothic rock band formed in 1987 from the ashes of the original Nosferatu. They play rousing rock anthems with thunderous guitars and exquisite symphonic orchestration, combined with booming baritone vocals.
Nosferatu gained attention in the 1990s, despite the British press and record industry being hostile to gothic rock, and eventually formed their own label. Despite their low profile in the UK, the band reached several top 20 positions in the British indie charts.
Nosferatu released 5 EPs and 3 albums before disbanding in 1994.
Since re-forming in 2019, The Nosferatu have played many successful shows and festivals, performing to large audiences in the UK, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Ireland and Mexico.
