Volker Lutz, mastermind of T.O.Y., already had considerable success before he founded the synth-pop band in 2001.
Among other things, with hits in the German alternative charts, the band gained international recognition. Numerous tours took T.O.Y. through Europe, Mexico and Russia. The band continued to develop their catchy, electronic and progressive sound, presenting the album “The Prophet” in 2024, which moves back to the 80s and couldn’t be more authentic. A taste of it is the recently released single “Turn On!” featuring Marian Gold of Alphaville.
