Girls Under Glass (GUG) was founded in Hamburg in spring 1986 by Thomas Lücke, Hauke Harms and Volker Zacharias as the successor band to Calling Dead Red Roses. Originally conceived as a gothic rock band, the Girls Under Glass broke genre boundaries early on and incorporated metal and electronic elements into their music.
GIRLS UNDER GLASS also breaks new ground and increasingly deals with the dystopian issues of our time.
