Schattenmann are a very special phenomenon in the German music scene. The four-piece band has continuously developed and honed their sound to a state-of-the-art metal with contemporary industrial influences.
Powerful, dynamic guitars that prove to be true riff monsters and are effectively showcased by a merciless groove machine of drums and bass as well as subtly interwoven synth sounds. At the epicenter of this tough sound conglomerate is guitarist Jan Shook, bassist Luke Shook and drummer Nils Kinzig and, above all, Schattenmann singer Frank Herzig, who also appears on stage as a charismatic and omnipresent frontman.
The Schattenmann credo: “We want to arouse emotions, from a good mood to anger, but at the same time it can also be melancholic or thoughtful. We laugh, cry, dance, sweat, everything that modern metal stands for!”
