Sven Friedrich can be seen as a reliable constant within Germany’s dark scene.
Known most of all for SOLAR FAKE, one of the most successful synthpop bands worldwide, he was the frontman of the gothic rock formation DREADFUL SHADOWS from 1993 to 2000. After their disbanding, he immediately created the band ZERAPHINE, thus closing the void that had been left by the end of DREADFUL SHADOWS. Besides Sven Friedrich, the heart of this project is Norman Selbig, as well as another three musicians, who bring forward their ideas and form the live line-up.
Musically, ZERAPHINE can be placed between dark rock and alternative rock with some electronic compositions in the songs that are written either in English or German. With his incomparable, deep, warm voice Sven Friedrich knows how to arouse emotions, guaranteeing a special musical experience during the rare shows of ZERAPHINE.
