Hinfort

Hinfort blends post-punk and darkwave into a melancholic sound with an atmosphere all its own. The Cologne-based solo project is the work of Florian Kerezovic, who takes care of everything from the first idea to the finished song, following a deliberately stripped-down and direct approach.

Cold bass lines, atmospheric synths, and reverberating guitars meet deep, distinctive vocals. At times raw and restrained, at others surprisingly catchy, the music always remains unmistakably Hinfort. Classic wave influences are clearly present without ever making the sound feel like a mere throwback to the 1980s.

Live, Hinfort brings this dense atmosphere to the stage with a strong presence. The deliberately minimal approach creates an intensity that needs little embellishment to draw the audience in.
