Years Of Denial

Years of Denial combine EBM, industrial, and post-punk with the energy of dark club music. The project brings together French musician and producer Jerome Tcherneyan and Czech vocalist and performance artist Barkosina Hanusova, who have been developing their own approach to electronic music since 2016.

Analogue synthesizers, pulsating basslines, and driving rhythms meet Hanusova’s distinctive voice, shifting from cool and detached to intense and expressive. Influences from new beat, wave, and rave add another layer to the mix. The result is dark, hypnotic, and highly danceable, yet difficult to pin down to any single genre.

On stage, this combination becomes even more intense. While Tcherneyan delivers the powerful electronic sound, Hanusova gives the music a face through her expressive performance. Together, Years of Denial create a dark club atmosphere that translates directly into movement.
