IAMX

IAMX is the musical and visual world of Chris Corner. Following his time with Sneaker Pimps, the British musician created the project as a space to pursue his own ideas without stylistic boundaries. Electronic music, synthpop, and alternative meet influences from industrial, new wave, and dark cabaret.

The sound of IAMX thrives on contrasts. Driving electronic beats and distorted synthesizers sit alongside piano, fragile passages, and sweeping melodies, while Corner’s unmistakable voice gives the music its particular intensity. At times cold and minimal, at others expansive and almost anthemic, IAMX have continued to evolve over the years without losing their distinctive identity.
