Minuit Machine was founded in Paris in 2013 by Hélène de Thoury and Amandine Stioui.
The duo has evolved in the field of electronic dance music from a minimalist synth-wave to a variant of future pop that combines elements of dark wave, techno and electropop. Melodic synthesiser arrangements and a simple drum machine, borrowed from cold wave, create a synthetic dark wave that becomes a modernised synth wave through the ethereal, elegiac and slightly monotone vocals on early releases.
Minuit Machine’s music is disturbed, emotional and terribly addictive. It will make you want to dance your heart out to express all the anger anger, passion and fear you harbour.
